This piece was something I had to pull together in an afternoon to support an initiative that the Videotron Marketing team was promoting. At the time, a new community was rising out of the fledgling soup of Internet users that was contrary to the typical "University youth." Elderweb was, and still is, a community of older adult computer users. This ad was designed to compare the phone modem as the traffic jam when compared to the roller-coaster of the cable modem. I chose a musical style that was in stark contrast to the typcial techno-pop sound that was common in the late '90s, but I still wanted something fun and lively.
