As part of the Hotrocket team, I am headed to the Serious Games Summit in Washington, D.C. and this year I am a speaker! The SGS is a gathering of people who are in the business of researching, designing, implementing, assessing, refining and defining this burgeoning industry that combine gaming (as in commercial entertainment PC and console based games) and learning/training.
I will be posting to the CIAIC blog that is set up for the Summit and the follow up event, Partners in Learning, that is being set up by the Canadian Embassy. The intent of the blog is to share back to anyone who is interested the information that is gathered at the Summit. Along with any reflections, epiphanies and rants that pop into our heads. I am part of an entire Canadian contingency that will be attending. Stay tuned!
